Writing a grocery list in the grocery store center
We worked with our partner to read tell a story using the story wheel.
We were the 1st group to put all the animal words together. We're a proud group! Can't you tell!
To work with simple addition, we read the book Quack and Count. We then created our own addition problems using ducks as counters. Our favorite part was holding 2 Pringle's Chips with our lips to create a duck's bill. We'll never look at chips in the same way. We then made it into a class book.
We traced shamrocks and covered them with gold glitter to hang in our tree outside the classroom. Some of us went a little crazy with the glitter and glue! We also ate yummy shamrock cookies.
