Oh the Adventures!

This week was a mixture of a lot of fun activities. We introduced senses in the science center, read a lot of rhyming books during whole group, and we are still studying fairy tales with Mrs. Robinson. After reading the book the Magic Stick, we went on the nature trail behind the school and searched for our perfect magic stick. We then drew a picture of what our magic stick could be used for, glued the magic stick on our paper (Mrs. Williams used her special teacher glue that really stunk up the room the entire day), and then we dictated to Mrs. Williams what our magic stick was used for. Our fabulous art work and writing is displayed in the art center!
In the fine motor center, we had to trace fairy tale characters. We really did a great job with this!

We used our sense of touch to try and figure out what was in the box! We had to draw what we felt. Let's just say we were shocked to pull out animal bones!

During whole group math we had to sort objects two different ways.

Zero the Hero visited us on the 30th day of school. He also delivered a tasty zero snack...Smarties!

They were acting out Sleeping Beauty!
