Really Catching Up!

We brought in 2013 with a bang.  The kids have been working extra hard, completing some challenging task.

   

filling in the dates for the month of January

building words using the letters in Happy New Year

We’ve had rice (snow) every where and it’s been fun exploring in the science center.

Putting upper case letters in order and matching lower case letters to them

  Solving addition problems Practicing adding and subtracting snowballs to cover a snowman

playing a board game, helping the penguins catch fish 

matching rhyming words and writing them putting a snowman in sequential order

  painting a winter/snow picture in art

We’ve had fun building with wooden blocks. The fine motor has changed to the listening center!  We’ve started by listening to the songs we sing in class. It’s always wonderful to celebrate birthdays!
