Extinction!

This week marks the end of the dinosaurs in our class. We've had so much fun these past 2 weeks. Look out space! Here we come! We enjoyed eating "dinosaur" eggs for snack!

We ALL had a BLAST writing our own big books! Some of us even skipped centers to stay and finish our work. Mrs. Henderson, the Assistant Principal, was amazed at our writing skill!

After exploring fossils in the science center, we enjoyed putting together a 3 layer puzzle of a dinosaur: skeleton, flesh, and skin.

Bump has become one of our favorite math games.

This week we opened a flower shop. We had to take orders and write cards for our flower order.

Big Book Fun!

We were so proud to put together the large T-Rex floor puzzle.

For snack we pretended to be herbivore dinosaurs and eat salad! YUM! YUM! Our teachers were amazed that so many of us loved salad!

Learning to play Bump with Mrs. Robinson

Digging for fossils in our fossil mounds
We loved all the treasures we found.

Painting a dinosaur background
Later we were able to add special dinosaur stickers for characters.
After reading a book about a little girl who wished for a dinosaur, we each wrote a sentence saying what we wished for.
