The Week the Dinosaurs Came Back!

Learning to lace and tie shoes-Some of us really got the hang of it.
Painting dinosaur tracks in the art center-We then had to use stencils to trace dinosaurs to go with our tracks.

We were so proud when we were able to put the large dinosaur floor puzzle together.

Measuring dinosaurs in the science center-We used measuring tape and recorded our findings in inches.

We built dinosaur dens in the blocks center.
Some of our favorite books to read in the reading center are books that we have written as a class.

Sorting dinosaurs and recording our results using tally marks

After reading a story about dinosaurs, we were given a secret egg. We opened the egg to discover a dinosaur. We glued the picture in our science journal and had to write a descriptive sentence about our dinosaur.

We had fun listening to dinosaur stories, writing and drawing about our favorite part.

At Mrs. Williams' table, we completed a math activity comparing and estimating the size of a human foot and dinosaur foot.

In the writing center, we had to put dinosaurs in ordinal number order, write it, and put a dinosaur sticker beside each number to show 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.
